Silence is a short film I made while in my undergraduate film program. It is a short fiction film that talks about sexual harrasment and assault in the public space. It deals with the trauma, anger, discomfort and helplessness that women face on a daily basis.
The film was shot on a public bus with very limited actor placements. I involved members of the public who were riding on the bus route while filming to ‘act,’ and be part of the film.
I wrote, directed, co-shot, and edited the film.
