As part of the Chicago Recovery Plan, the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) and The Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice (OERJ) launched the Community Wealth Building (CWB) Initiative—a $15 million investment in CWB enterprises, infrastructure, and capacity-building.
In partnership with subject matter experts I led the creative strategy, and visual design for a digital platform promoting community wealth-building models. A key asset I led from concept to delivery, collaborating with external creatives and the client team to develop an animated explainer film, including scripting, motion design and animation. Together, we translated complex economic and policy concepts into an engaging, accessible experience that broadened understanding and supported public engagement.
